About This Application

Hope Bravely is a US-based nonprofit organization providing aid management services to Ukrainian refugee families. This application ("the App") facilitates the application, review, and delivery of assistance programs including rent and utilities support, education funding, micro-business grants, and employment assistance.

Who Can Use This App

This App is intended for individuals applying for Hope Bravely assistance ("participants"), as well as Hope Bravely staff ("coordinators" and "administrators") who manage the assistance process. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

Information We Collect

To process your assistance application, we collect:

  • Personal identifying information: name, email address, phone number, age
  • Household information: number of dependents, housing situation, monthly income, debt, and savings
  • Employment information: employment status, employer, job title
  • Application details: program selections, goals, barriers, and supporting documentation
  • Photos: a personal photo if you choose to provide one
  • Supporting documents: identification, lease agreements, enrollment letters, and similar

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to evaluate and administer your assistance application. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties outside of Hope Bravely operations. Coordinators assigned to your case and Hope Bravely administrators can view your information.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (servers located in the United States) using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. File uploads (documents and photos) are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage with access controlled by the application.

Your Rights

You may request a copy of your personal data or ask that your account be deleted by contacting Hope Bravely at info@hopebravely.org. Deletion requests will be honored subject to our record-keeping obligations.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
